A NIGERIAN born striker who has spent most of his life being raised in Liverpool, Obi is in the second year of his training with the club.
He is a regular scorer for the Youth team, scoring at a rate of better than one per game.
It was this form which brought him to the attention of manager Dean Saunders and earned him a debut in our FA Cup replay away to Eastwood Town.
A stunt double for Jimmy Floyd Hesselbaink, Obi came to the attention of supporters with his displays in pre-season friendlies and if he can maintain his scoring ratio, then a promising career lies ahead.
After leading the scoring charts for the Youth team in the successful 2008/09 campaign he was given his debut against Eastwood Town in the FA Cup and then got a first league start against Kidderminster in late March 2009.
Signed on a professional contract in the summer of 2009.
He has since enjoyed loan spells with Newtown and vauxhall Motors, as well as making a number of first team appearances with the Dragons.
