FOLLOWING this afternoon's come-from-behind FA Trophy success at Workington, Dean Saunders reflected on his choice of line-up and how they performed.

"With a possible re-arranged game on Tuesday night against Barrow in mind, which was also dependant on other FA Trophy results, I tailored my team selection to suit," said the boss.

"Therefore I played a completely different team today and fortunately it worked for us.

"Yes we were made to sweat and we made another suicidal mistake to give them the lead.

"I've not had a chance to watch the Northwich video, but apparently it was another three mistakes from corners - if we want to keep winning then we have to work jharder at eliminating such errors in our play.

"Having said that, we go behind but have a winning mentality and I'm expecting us to come back.

"Workington made it very difficult for us. They have two legs, two arms and lungs, just like our players, so it really doesn't matter too much which division you are in.

"So fitness is one thing, but the ability to keep going when you are tried - that's called determination

"We have players who are fit and determined to win. So in the last 20 minutes of games, that's what I'm expecting.

"Marc Williams has come off the bench, won us a penalty and scored two goals - brilliant.

"Yet I was sat there on the bench thinking we were capable of committing suicide!

"I should have been the dugout puffing on a cigar and drinking a cup of tea, instead I felt nervous.

"Just as I did at Eastwood and against Southport and with no disrespect to the opposition, but I don't think I should be feeling nervous.

"I know in each of those matches I have changed our line-up, but people should be taking their opportunities."

With the Dragons moving into the last eight of the competition, just how much does it mean?

"A trip to Wembley would be fantastic for the players, staff and supporters, it would be great to be able to play there.

"But all the time I'm very aware that our aim is to get back into the Football League and I didn't want anything to i!"nterfere with that today.

"If it comes to that again, then the league games must come first, - but why not try and do both!"
