AS preparations for the new season continue, the club is pleased to announce a number of additional fixtures which will mainly feature the reserves.

This pre-season will see much more swooping of players between squads, to give everyone a good run out before the big kick-off.

To this end, a couple of dates will see us use split squads on certain dates.

For example - what was originally put down as a reserve friendly involving Colwyn Bay will now see a stronger line-up in action at Llanelian Road, while some players are given the day off to prepare for the trip to Northern Ireland.

This will happen again on August 4, with a strong squad in action at Hednesford, but senior players also involved against Druids at Plaskynaston Lane.

The date for our visit to Buckley Town has yet to be finalised, but will be in the days running up to the start of the League 2 campaign.

Our thanks to all the clubs named above and our apologies to everyone else who contacted us requesting a match, but we were unable to fit into the schedule.

In addition to these games, the Youth team will be playing a few friendlies against Football League opposition.

There will also be an Open Day at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday, 5 August. With the first team squad going through a short training session before supporters will have the opportunity to meet the players, have photographs taken and autographs signed.
