A FIRST half double was enough to ensure that the Dragons claimed their first victory back in the totesport.com league, as they triumphed away to Oldham Athletic.

Polish forward Adrian Cieslewicz was on target after just nine minutes, when he tucked away his shot from the edge of the box after good build up play by Lamine Sakho and Jamie McCluskey.

On 31 minutes, Simon Brown was brought down as he jinked his way into the Latics' penalty area and Lamine Sakho stepped up to score from 12-yards, guiding his shot into the net off the keeper's left hand post.

With about 20 minutes remaining, young Irishman Kirk Miller pulled one back with a neat near post header, to give the home side some hope.

But despite being pushed back relentlessly, the visitors held on to claim a worthy victory.
