THE Reserves twice came from behind to finally secure a point against the Latics at Buckley this evening.
Oldham took a first half lead, but the hosts drew level seconds after the restart when Ed Moss equalised.
The visitors regained the lead before centre half Leon Clowes was on hand to score our second of the night after 78 minutes and ensure a share of the spoils.
It was Deane Smalley who almost opened the scoring for Oldham during the first period when, after just two minutes, his header hit the woodwork.
The experience in the Latics side showed and after 17 minutes Joe Colbeck opened the scoring with a drive from outside of the penalty area.
Just ten minutes before the interval Ferenc Fodor went close to increasing Latics lead with a volley from a Colbeck corner.
Will McCall replaced Kelvin Lomax at the start of the second half and Latics received a shock as Wrexham drew level within 90 seconds of the restart.
Ball into the box and Ed Moss fought to get possession, got an opening and fired a cross keeper into the far corner.
Ten minutes though later Latics were back in front. Lewis Alessandra picked up the ball on the halfway line and played in Smalley down the left flank, who pulled the ball back to Ryan Brooke on the edge of the area and it was squared to Joe Colbeck who fired into the bottom corner for his second goal of the game.
Wrexham would not lie down though and on 78 minutes drew level again.
At a set piece Christian Smith flicked on a header and Leon Clowes got in front of the keeper to stab the ball home from six-yards out.
So salvaging a deserved point.
