Pontin's League Division One West
BURNLEY 3 WREXHAM 0

Goals -
1-0 Sanohko (14)
2-0 Taylor (34)
3-0 Sanohko (57)

In the end an easy victory for the Clarets, who raced into a two-goal lead before the break and never looked in any danger relinquishing it.

Mark Harris' attempted clearance spun back for O'Neill to cross from the Burnley left. Amadou Sanokho took one of two half clearances that fell his way to curl an effort out of Matt Baker's reach

Taylor started laid to the left where Scott crossed in an angle Sanokho let through and Alex Taylor headed down and past the diving Baker, going in off a post for the Clarets second of the evening.

Wrexham's only real effort in the opening 45 minutes came in time added on for injuries, when Alex Smith curled in a 22-yarder that was narrowly over Mark Crossley.

A breakaway by Sanohko on 57 minutes saw him beat two defenders, before firing goalwards from 15-yards, Baker spread himself to get a touch, but the ball hit his left hand post and spun into the net

Wrexham should have pulled one back on 60 minutes when Harris' cross eluded Crossley, but instead of heading the ball home into an empty net, he tried to get a foot on it!

Joey switched to a 3-5-2 formation, with Mark Jones alongside Jamie Reed up front, freeing
