Rochdale AFCWREXHAM Reserves are still looking for their first win at Globe Way and last night slipped to their first home defeat of the season with a disappointing display against Rochdale.

Trailing to an early goal slotted home by Ben Kitchen, after just two minutes, a decent strength home team lifted themselves to pull level just ten minutes later, when Andy Holt's fierce cross was turned in at close range by Jamie Reed.

Once back on level terms, it did look as if we would push on and to claim the three points, but the longer the game went on and particularly during the second half, the more tame proceedings became.

Rochdale took advantage of the situation and with under 10 minutes remaining, a corner was scrambled home by substitute Theo Coleman to give Dale the points.

The positives mainly centred around the comeback of Andy Holt, who played 45 minutes and looked strong on the left wing. Shaun Pejic and Jim Whitley both completed another match, while Dean Bennett had an hour.
