WSA Aids Ground Improvements

Posted on: Mon 16 Nov 2009

THE Wrexham Supporters Association kindly agreed to sponsor the replacement of over 500 seats in the centre section of the Yale Stand, a project carried out ready for the star of the 2009/10 season.

The seats in the red section around the Directors and Executive Boxes have been completely renewed.

Chairman Geoff Moss is delighted with the help being given by Wrexham's oldest established supporters group.

"Following work to clean up both the Director's Box and Executive Box, this was the first step in replenishing the whole of the centre section in the Yale Stand," he said.

"Making it a great deal more comfortable for supporters, as many of these seats will have been in place for over 35 years.

"We thank the WSA for their commitment in helping to improve the Racecourse Ground and it should be noted that they give all their money raised to specific improvement projects around the Football Club."

The WSA has already donated £5,000 towards the club's highly acclaimed Youth Development Centre of Excellence, following the cutting of its grant this season.
