THE Youth team were back in action on Saturday morning, following their winter break and got back to winning ways with a 2-0 success over Tranmere Rovers at Colliers Park.

With both Matty Hurdman and George Stewart starting live on loan in the Welsh Premier with Prestatyn Town and Airbus UK respectively, the side was always going to have to readjust to the absence of two if their more experienced players.

It seemed to matter little to the Young Dragons as they saw off traditional youth powerhouse Rovers with a goal in each half.

The first came courtesy of an own goal and the second from top scorer Obi Anoruo.
