Beginning life with Everton, the scouse midfielder moved away from Goodison Park in 2004 to join Coventry City...

Yet to make a first team appearance he opted to sign for Accrington Stanley in 2005.

Having made 26 appearances in the first half of the season he signed for Yeovil Town in the January transfer window.

18-months into his Yeovil Town stay he moved to Chester City where he played regularly before the club was liquidated in January 2010.

He crossed over the border to sign for the Dragons for his first spell however his stay was short and failed to make an appearance under Dean Saunders.

Fleetwood swooped in for him where he won promotion from the National League with the Cod Army in 2012.

Upon his release from Highbury, Barry dropped back into non-league with Forest Green Rovers making 36 league appearances over two seasons, with a loan spell with Accrington in between.

He re-joined Stanley in 2015 for what would be a third spell, reaching the Sky Bet League Two play-offs which they lost in the semi-final to eventual winners AFC Wimbledon.

He left the League Two club in the summer of 2016 and re-joined Wrexham ahead of the 2016/17 National League season.
