The Wales U21 international began his career with Wrexham joining the youth academy aged 9 in 2006. He spent five years with the Dragons before he was snapped up by Fulham in 2011, aged 15.
Three seasons in the youth team at Craven Cottage saw Evans sign professional terms in 2014, he made his first appearance in the squad as an unused substitute in a League Cup game against Stoke City in September 2015.
He moved to Oxford United on loan in November 2015, where he made nine appearances in League Two. He made his senior debut in an FA Cup tie against Forest Green Rovers. Soon after he made his first senior start in a Football League Trophy tie against Yeovil Town, scoring five minutes in to the game for his first goal.
During his time with the U’s, Evans played 90 minutes at Wembley in the Football League Trophy Final, losing out to Barnsley 3-2.
He returned to and was released by Fulham at the end of the season before joining Wrexham initially on trial, before signing a six-month contract in July 2016.
