Made his debut while still a scholar with the club, but already our longest serving player.

Rob is a local lad coming from the village of Penycae, just south of Wrexham.

A product of our Centre of Excellence, he had a year as a non-contract player before moving on to sign Scholarship forms in the summer of 2012.

Evans got himself a place in the history of Wrexham FC when he came on as a substitute in the December 2011 Welsh Cup tie against Airbus, as he became the second youngest player in the history of the club.

He made a good impression too, showing good energy against much more experienced opponents.

He made a further appearance in the first team when he came off the bench away to Newport County in April 2012.

Turned professional in March 2013 on an extended deal with the club. Soon afterwards was capped by Wales at U19 level and playing on a regular basis for his country.
