In order for media organisations to attend first team fixtures at My Racecourse to provide broadcast, written or photography coverage, please apply to: [email protected]
Please note that the closing date for accreditation applications is 5pm on Thursdays for all weekend fixtures, or 5pm on the preceding day for a midweek fixture. Though we can sometimes accommodate late requests (subject to availability), the deadlines have been set to ensure the smoothest possible service on the day of the game.
All media must apply for accreditation prior to each and every match. Failure to do so will result in media access being denied. We verify all accreditation requests and therefore can not deal with any form of 'on the day' requests.
Please include all names of personnel planning to attend, the organisation they are representing, information of where gathered media will be published, any appropriate licence numbers and any other information to support your application.
Please avoid ringing to confirm the status of your application prior to this point. Matchday parking is not provided to the media.
Media/TV Crew/Interview Requests
All requests or enquiries relating to Club affairs are to be directed to the Club Media Manager via email to [email protected]
We will endeavour to deal with requests from accredited media sources as soon as possible.
Interview requests with players and staff will be facilitated at our regular press days held at My Racecourse each week.
Should you wish to attend you must send an email to [email protected] outlining your request beforehand and you will subsequently receive notification granting you or denying you access to the press day.
If your request is recieved later than 24 hours before the press day you may not be given access for that week.
The Club will occasionally call press conferences in the event of a major announcement or ahead of a remarkable fixture. These take place at My Racecourse and media outlets will be notified if this is the case.
Images used in our matchday magazine and via the pages of our Club website are provided by our Club Photographer.
Other images featured on our site are courtesy of Robert Stead and others are accredited where necessary.
Any photographers looking to attend first team fixtures at My Racecourse must provide their National League license number and proof of publication with their request.
Radio Commentary Requests
Only the BBC and the official club websites of the two teams are automatically permitted to broadcast audio commentary from matches.
Any other requests should be made to the club via email at least 24 hours prior to kick-off.
Please note: We will not allow any independant requests who transmit their match commentary on the Mixlr platform.
All requests for telephone or ISDN lines should be made in at least 24 hours in advance of kick-off to the club via email. No requests for lines can be handled on the day.
Student Requests/Supporter Websites/Unverified Media/Independants
Due to the vast number of requests we receive relating to student projects, supporter blogs/vlogs, independant photographers or unverified/unrecognised websites/publications, it is unfortunately impossible for us to grant most requests we receive.
If you do want to make a request, you should email [email protected] with the following information enclosed:
- The reason for your application
- Proof of publication or your online presence URL's
- A record of any previous publications relating to Wrexham AFC
- Examples of relevant work to support your reason for application
