US Tour - Media Information
If you are interested in media opportunities at our US Tour, please see this document and contact the Club's media department for further information.
In order for media organisations to attend first team fixtures at The Racecourse Ground to provide broadcast, written or photography coverage, please apply to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that the closing date for accreditation applications is 5pm on Thursdays for all weekend fixtures, or 5pm on the preceding day for a midweek fixture. Though we can sometimes accommodate late requests (subject to availability), the deadlines have been set to ensure the smoothest possible service on the day of the game.
All media must apply for accreditation prior to each and every match. Failure to do so will result in media access being denied. We verify all accreditation requests and therefore can not deal with any form of 'on the day' requests.
If you are representing a verified organisation, please include: (Info. for freelancers is at the bottom of this page)
- All names of personnel planning to attend
- The organisation they are representing
- Information of where gathered media will be published
- Any appropriate licence numbers
- Any other information to support your application.
Please avoid contacting us to confirm the status of your application prior the closing date. Matchday parking is not provided to the media.
Press & TV Crew Interview Requests
All requests or enquiries relating to Club affairs are to be directed to the Club's Press Officer via email to email@example.com.
We will endeavour to deal with requests from accredited media sources as soon as possible.
Interview requests with players and staff will be facilitated at our regular press days.
Should you wish to attend you must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org outlining your request beforehand and you will subsequently receive notification granting you or denying you access to the press day.
If your request is recieved later than 24 hours before the press day you may not be given access for that week.
The Club will occasionally call press conferences in the event of a major announcement or ahead of a remarkable fixture. These take place at the Racecourse Ground and media outlets will be notified if this is the case.
Images used in our matchday programme and via the pages of our Club website are provided by our Club Photographers.
Any photographers representing verified organisations looking to attend first team fixtures at the Racecourse should follow the above match accrediation procedure and must provide the following with their request:
- Their National League license number
- Proof of publication
- Information about where photographs will be published
Information regarding freelance or independant photographers is at the bottom of this page.
Radio Commentary Requests
Only the BBC and the official club websites of the two teams are automatically permitted to broadcast audio commentary from matches. Any other requests should be made to the club via email at least 24 hours prior to kick-off.
All requests for telephone or ISDN lines should be made in at least one full week in advance of kick-off to the club via email. No requests for lines can be handled after this time or on the day.
Student Requests/Supporter Websites/Unverified Media/Independents/Freelancers
Due to the vast number of requests we receive relating to student projects, supporter blogs/vlogs, independant/freelance photographers or unverified/unrecognised websites/publications, it is unfortunately impossible for us to grant most requests we receive.
For any licensed media looking to cover a game, we would need the organisation or agency they are representing to contact us (email@example.com) to book in a place as far in advance as possible and no later than 48 hours before a fixture, be it photography/written press/radio etc. If you are freelancing for a number of organisations at a game, just one of these would be fine. Occasionally, we may ask for proof of publication.
Unfortunately, due to the anticipated high demand, we will no longer be able to accommodate freelance media personnel without prior notice from their organisation or agency.
If you do want to make a request, you should email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information enclosed:
- The reason for your application
- Proof of publication or your online presence URL's
- A record of any previous publications relating to Wrexham AFC
- Examples of relevant work to support your reason for application
Photographers must also provide:
- National League Licence Number
- Information about how the photographs will be used

If the above information still doesn't answer your query, please feel free to email the Club's Press Officer, Colin Henrys, on firstname.lastname@example.org.
