Key information for supporters attending our next home match

13 August 2021

Season-ticket holders will return to the Racecourse Ground on Saturday, August 14, as Phil Parkinson’s side complete their pre-season preparations with a home friendly against Curzon Ashton. The match kicks off at 3pm, and season ticket holders should check their emails for full information on how to claim their free tickets for this gam

Ticketing and entry

Tickets are free to all season-ticket holders. There will be no individual tickets available for this game, and no on-the-day sales. There are no away tickets available.

Print-at-home tickets have been sent via email to all supporters. We ask all supporters to use the print-at-home option where possible, however the Centenary Club will be open until 9pm on Friday for collections.

Tickets can also be collected from the Centenary Club from 9am on Saturday for all season ticket holders. From 12pm until 2.30pm, the Centenary Club will be open for Yale Stand ticket collections, while Mold Road Stand tickets should be collected from the Mold Road Stand reception.

Scanners will be in operation as we test our new procedures for the 2021/22 season. Duplicated tickets will be rejected, and please ensure your ticket category correctly reflects the ticket holder’s age.

Season ticket holders in the Mold Road Stand should enter via turnstiles 25-30, Yale Stand season-ticket holders should use turnstiles 5-10 and WREXRENT Stand season-ticket holders, who are to be allocated the Yale Stand away end for this game, should use turnstiles 1-4.

Please be patient with our staff and volunteers as we all get used to these new processes and, with this in mind, please try to arrive at the Racecourse Ground in good time in order to ensure you do not miss kick-off.

To help with this, we are opening the gates half-an-hour early for this game, with entry from 1.30pm.

Please only sit in your allocated seat for this game.

Parking

Parking is available in the Glyndwr University Wrexham car park, adjacent to the stadium, at a cost of £3 per car. Disabled parking is also available.

Please do not park in the main club car park, and please also be respectful of our neighbours when choosing where to park. Cars must not be parked in permit-only areas around the ground. We know all supporters are proud of our place in the community, and we ask everybody to respect that when parking their cars so as to avoid disruption to our neighbours.

Travel information

By car: The Racecourse Ground is located on Mold Road. The postcode is LL11 2AH. By car, take the A483 from Chester or Oswestry to Wrexham. Exit at the ‘Mold’ junction and then follow signs for ‘Town Centre’ and the Racecourse Ground will come quickly into view.

By train: The nearest train station is Wrexham General, which is located next to the ground. The Bidston-Wrexham General line will be operating a replacement bus service between August 14 and August 22, and supporters using this line should factor this into their travel plans.

By bus: Wrexham bus station is located in the centre of town. From the bus station, head towards the prominent multi-storey car park and turn right along Mold Road. The ground will be located on the right-hand side, just after you cross the bridge over the railway tracks, about half a mile along this road.

WREXRENT Stand Closure

Due to ongoing construction work on the WREXRENT Stand concourse, the stand will remain closed for this game. All WREXRENT Stand season-ticket holders will be allocated unreserved seats in the upper and lower paddocks of the university end of the Yale Stand (away end).

Hospitality

Hospitality will be closed for this game. This includes the Centenary Club, 1864 Suite, Bamford’s and Executive Room.

Kiosks

Refreshment kiosks will be open for this game on the Yale Stand concourse and in the Mold Road Stand concourse, serving a range of hot and cold drinks, alcoholic drinks, hot food and confectionary. We ask all supporters to use card payments where possible.

Bags/luggage

Please only bring necessary personal items with you, and only one small bag if required that can be stored under your seat. You can see a full list of prohibited items in our Ground Regulations.

Disabled

Our disabled viewing platform in the Mold Road Stand will be open for this game, and supporters who have been contacted to use it should enter via the Mold Road reception and use the lift.

Wheelchair supporters should enter via gate 12, to the left of the turnstiles on Mold Road, for the level entrance into the stadium. Our Disability Liaison Officer, Kerry Evans, will be at the entrance to welcome supporters and answers any queries you may have.

We ask that all wheelchair users stick to their allocated spaces, due to the high demand for places this season.

Please note, our sensory room will not be open for this game.
