As we await the 2021/22 Vanarama National League fixtures, we also have dates for your diary for the Emirates FA Cup, Buildbase FA Trophy, and The FA Youth Cup.
The league fixtures will be revealed on Wednesday (July 7), but the Club has also now received confirmation from the Football Association on dates for the aforenamed tournaments.
Wrexham, and our 22 fellow Vanarama National League teams, enter the Emirates FA Cup, as ever, in the fourth qualifying round.
Matches will be played on Saturday October 16, 2021. Should Wrexham progress, the First Round will then be played on Saturday November 6, 2021.
The total prize money for this year’s FA Cup will remain at the same level as in 2020/21. All teams who play in the fourth qualifying round will earn £3,125 in prize money, while the winners take home £9,375.
In the Buildbase FA Trophy, all 23 Vanarama National League teams will enter in the third round, including 2013 champions Wrexham. The third round will be played on Saturday December 18, 2021.
In the FA Youth Cup, meanwhile, Wrexham are one of 23 teams exempted to the second qualifying round.
Matches will take place on Monday September 27, 2021, with the third round of qualifying scheduled for two weeks later. Should Wrexham reach the Competition Proper, as they did when they last competed in 2019/20, the first round will be played on Saturday November 6.
