Fans queued outside the Club Shop from 7am this morning to get their hands on the new Philadelphia-inspired 2021/22 Wrexham AFC away shirt.
The shirt, and the accompanying Away Edition bottles of Aviation x Wrexham AFC gin both went on sale online and in store this morning, at 9am.
A queue snaked all the way back to the Glyndwr University flats, with supporters keen to be the first to get their hands on the new shirt.
Simon Edwards, 54, from Overton, was the first through the door, buying the new shirt for himself and his daughters.
The away kit takes its midnight green colour from co-chairman Rob McElhenney’s beloved Philadelphia Eagles, and features an embroidered “It’s Always Sunny…” beneath the unique colour.
Retail shirts feature our new front-of-shirt sponsor TikTok, and Simon told the Club website: “It’s a lovely shirt, I really like it. I’ve also picked up one each for my twin daughters, to take back to University with them, so they can remember where the best team comes from!”
The Club Shop will be open until 7pm today, Wednesday July 28, and again tomorrow (Thursday July 29).
Season ticket holders looking to renew their ticket in-person can also continue to do so, from the Centenary Club during normal operating hours (9am-5pm) and from 5pm-7pm in the Club Shop.
