Wrexham AFC can confirm women’s first-team manager Mari Edwards has stepped down from her role at the club with immediate effect.
Mari – who took over the role in the summer – has overseen success during her short stint which includes guiding the club to the First Round Proper of the FAW Cup for the first time and reaching the knockout stages of the Adran Trophy.
The club will now look to appoint a new women’s first-team manager with the process beginning immediately.
Assistant manager Steve Dale will be placed in temporary charge, starting today in the Adran North away to Llanfair United and be assisted by Gareth Owen and Gemma Owen.
