Wrexham AFC can confirm that, following a case of mistaken identity, Bryce Hosannah will not serve any punishment for the red card he was shown during the game against Maidenhead United.
The punishment has instead been transferred to Paul Mullin, who will serve a three-match ban starting with immediate effect. This ban covers all Vanarama National League and FA Cup ties.
Manager Phil Parkinson said: “We’re frustrated we only found out from the FAW late today, but we’re not letting it detract from what will be a terrific day for everyone at Wrexham AFC tomorrow.”
