The Aldershot match was the 14th time a Wrexham match has been abandoned.
WREXHAM'S ABANDONED MATCHES
The abandonment at Aldershot is only the 14th in our history.
Incredibly, it's only the third time a Wrexham away game has been abandoned.
We've been leading in 6 of the 14 games when play was halted: the only time we were behind was when Colwyn Bay were beating us 1-0 in the Welsh Cup, just 24 days after we beat Arsenal! When the game was rearranged, Colwyn Bay won 3-1!
THE DEBUT THAT WASN'T
The abandonment of the game means Bryce Hosannah has yet to make his debut for Wrexham. However, when games are abandoned or expunged, the disciplinary events still stand. That means, bizarrely, that Hosannah has a yellow card to his name before he has played a game for us!
MILESTONES THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED IF THE GAME HAD BEEN COMPLETED
Bryce Hosannah's Wrexham debut.
Jake Hyde's 375th career appearance.
Wrexham equalled their biggest win at Aldershot: 2-0 in September 1969.
