With the season now up and running and supporters back in the Racecourse Ground, we are pleased to announce match-day bucket collections will also be returning.
Wrexham AFC are proud of our community focus, and are keen to ensure we can help as many local, and also national, charities as possible.
Each match will have one dedicated bucket collection, and we hope to cover a broad range of charity organisations, which is why we are asking all charities who wish to be considered for a collection to get in touch.
We would like to thank all Wrexham AFC supporters who have given generously over the years to these bucket collections.
Our charity bucket collections will return from the match against Torquay on October 30.
Any charity organisation interested in hosting a bucket collection this season should contact Kerry Evans, at kerry.evans@wrexhamafc.co.uk, with your charity name and charity number, and a brief 200-word description of what your charity does and how you would benefit from a collection.
Please note, any requests not fulfilling this brief cannot be considered for a bucket collection. All requests must be submitted by Monday October 4.
All valid requests will be collated by Kerry, who will allocate collections to ensure a fair spread between types of charities and where they are located – with a focus on those operating within our local community, and directly impacting Wrexham AFC supporters.
All applicants must have a charity number, and we ask any previous beneficiaries to follow the same process, in the interest of providing fair opportunity to all applicants.
