COMMUNITY | Walk and talk sessions

Join supporters in Bellevue Park this Friday

14 April 2022

Wrexham AFC’s latest walk-and-talk session will take place on Good Friday (April 15), an hour earlier at 11am, with BT Sport’s Jeff Brazier among those taking part.

Jeff will join the Club’s session ahead of covering Friday’s Solihull game for BT Sport. He is a qualified talking therapist and runs regular walk-and-talk sessions across the country, which assist in connecting people and allowing them a space to talk.

The walk, in Bellevue Park, starting at the changing rooms by the football pitch, is designed to give participants the opportunity to meet up and connect with fellow supporters along with enjoying some light exercise.

Walking can assist with both our mental and physical well-being and can help reduce stress levels.

The Club will also run sessions ahead of the matches against Altrincham on Easter Monday and Southend United on April 30.

The walk will start from the changing rooms by the football pitch at Bellevue Park, and will complete two laps of the park and walk for around an hour in total.

You don’t have to do both laps – do as much or as little as you feel like doing, you will be welcome to join at any point.

Bellevue Park is fully accessible so everyone can come along; running, walk and talk, buggies and dogs welcome. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk but there will be a first-aider present.
