WEMBLEY | Coach travel confirmed

Official coach travel on sale from 9am Tuesday April 19

18 April 2022

Official coach travel for Wrexham AFC supporters ahead of the Buildbase FA Trophy Final will go on sale from 9am on Tuesday April 19, 2022.

As previously communicated, 89 coaches will be made available, priced at £45 per person for a return trip. Coaches will depart from various sites no later than 9am on the day of the Final (Sunday May 22).

Please note that tickets for official coach travel will be available for purchase online only, and will be  in the form of a print-at-home eTicket. Seats on the coaches will be unreserved.

Coaches will be numbered and there will be registrations prior to departure to ensure all supporters board their correct coach. Supporters are urged to leave sufficient time to have their tickets checked by the on-site stewards and/or driver and board their allocated coach.

The confirmed coach departure points are as follows:

  1. The Racecourse Ground (via both Mold Road and Crispin Lane). Parking available via Glyndwr University car park, with 650 spaces available.

  2. Waterworld. Parking available via Waterworld and library car parks, with 532 spaces available.

  3. Ysgol Clywedog. Parking available via Ruthin Road, with 150 spaces available.

Fans are advised that, due to other events taking place on May 22, parking will be limited. As such, car share and drop-off is encouraged. Naturally, the sites are expected to be busy, so supporters are advised to take care upon arrival, and be respectful to local residents.

Those booking official coach travel and wishing to park beforehand should adhere to parking restrictions which are in force.

Fans departing from The Racecourse Ground will be able to park at the Glyndwr University car park, with no parking available at The Racecourse Ground itself.

For those departing from Ysgol Clywedog, parking will be available across the road at the Council’s Ruthin Road offices.

For Waterworld and the library car parks, parking charges apply from 8am to 11am daily, at a cost of £1.80. Outside of these hours, there are no parking charges in place.

Parking can be paid for either on-site, via contactless or cash at the pay machine or via the JustPark App. Disabled parking charges apply for blue badge holders in any space.

Where possible, coaches will take the M40 route to Wembley Stadium. It should also be noted that, under the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol) Act 1985, no alcohol will be permitted on board the coaches.

Further details, including which coaches will be allocated to the above departure points, will be confirmed in due course.

Any queries should be directed to wembley.travel@wrexhamafc.co.uk.
