AWAY DAY GUIDE | Yeovil Town vs Wrexham AFC

Everything you need to know about visiting the Glovers on Saturday August 13

12 August 2022

Wrexham’s first away game of the season sees the Red Dragons travel to Somerset, to face Yeovil Town at Huish Park.

The Vanarama National League game takes place on Saturday August 13, and kicks off at 3pm.

Tickets are still available to buy online, direct from Yeovil’s ticket office, and Wrexham supporters are urged to buy in advance wherever possible as our hosts have advised there will be limited staff manning the ticket office ahead of the game. Full ticket information is available here.

Yeovil have also advised us that refreshment kiosks will be cash-only on the day and supporters will be permitted to bring water into Huish Park given the high temperatures forecast.

Wrexham AFC would urge all supporters to dress appropriately, remember sun cream and stay hydrated – the away standing terrace is uncovered, and supporters should keep this in mind.

Full information on visiting Huish Park for Saturday’s game can be found below.

The nearest cashpoints to Huish Park Stadium are as follows:

Tesco - The Forum, Abbey Manor Park, Yeovil BA21 3TL

ASDA - Preston Rd, Yeovil BA20 2HB

Supporters will also be allowed to take water into Huish Park Stadium given the high temperatures forecasted, and we urge everyone to make provision to stay hydrated.

Snack bars are situated in the away terrace area, while toilet facilities are situated around the ground.

Travel

Coach travel for this weekend’s game is still available to purchase via the Wrexham AFC eTicketing website. Coaches will depart from the Mold Road at 07:30, and are priced at £34 for adults and £32 for under-16s.

Please note, supporters under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Alcohol is strictly prohibited by law.

Directions by car can be found here. Brown directional signs are provided from all the major routes for both home and away fans. Home and away supporters traffic is split at the roundabout at the bottom of Western Avenue and Lufton Way (ASDA Roundabout. Visiting fans (including coaches) are sent via Lufton Way to the stadium.

The nearest train stations are Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction, however both of these are located around three miles from the ground. Taxis are available at both stations.

Parking

Car parking is available at Huish Park at a price of £3 per car. Blue-badge parking is available, and should be booked in advance through Yeovil DSA secretary Sharon Swain on 07790 375250.

Supporters looking to park in surrounding areas should be respectful of the club’s neighbours, and favour the industrial areas to the west of the stadium to avoid the residential areas to the east.
