Wrexham AFC would like to thank all charities who got in touch to request a bucket collection for the 2022/23 season.
Supporters helped to raise more than £15,000 for charities last season, from the collections at our home games, and this year will see the collections return for the full campaign.
Wales Air Ambulance will be our first beneficiaries ahead of Saturday’s match at home to Eastleigh, and all donations will be greatly received.
Having received a wide variety of applications for the 2022/23 season once again, the Club has allocated collections to ensure as fair a spread as possible between the types of charities and where they are located. We have aimed to focus in particular on those operating within our local community and directly impacting Wrexham AFC supporters.
Though we are unable to allocate every valid applicant a bucket collection for the 2022/23 season, we have tried to accommodate as wide and fairly as possible.
All charities collecting at the Racecourse Ground as part of the official pre-match bucket collection will be registered charities with a valid charity number.
Thank you to all supporters who continue to give generously to such collections.
Further announcements will be made regarding the collections for Boxing Day, and the final two home games, in the lead-up to those matches.
