COMMUNITY | First quiet walkabout session of new season scheduled

Supporters with sensory overload invited to attend on Thursday August 4

1 August 2022

We are pleased to confirm our quiet walkabout sessions, for supporters with sensory overload, will be returning with our first walkabout of the 2022/23 scheduled for Thursday August 4 at 4pm.

The sessions are designed for any supporters who would benefit from having a quiet walkabout of the stadium while it is closed, to familiarise themselves prior to a busy match day.

The walkabout includes being shown the Macron Stand accessible entrance (Gate 12) and walking the recommended route to the quiet zone – which avoids the busy concourse area on match-days.

We also show the accessible toilets, our sensory hub and discuss all that we provide in the quiet zone (block PG1) on match-days.

It is a great opportunity for potential new fans to look around while it’s quiet and have any issues or queries answered prior to attending a match-day.

Anybody wishing to attend should meet at Gate 12 – our double-doorway, accessible entrance into the Macron Stand on Mold Road to the left of the turnstiles – at 4pm prompt.

If you have any queries, please email kerry.evans@wrexhamafc.co.uk.
