Following a successful first two matches for our new Racecourse Live initiative, supporters are reminded to apply for tickets for our next home game, against Gateshead on Tuesday August 30.
Racecourse Live is the Club’s major CSR initiative for the 2022/23 season, with 200 tickets reserved for each league game in the Wrexham Lager Stand to ensure Wrexham AFC remains accessible to all.
Aware that the increase in popularity of the Club and the current cost of living crisis may prevent those wanting to attend to experience the Racecourse Ground from being able to attend, the tickets are available free of charge.
Our goal is to continue growing the fanbase rather than capitalise on the short-term financial return of over £70,000 that could have been achieved by selling the 200 seats as season tickets or on a matchday.
Applications for the tickets are welcomed from individuals or groups on the application forms that can be downloaded below. Tickets will be allocated in pairs or multiples of two. The aspiration is that more than 3,400 different people will take advantage of the offer.
The Club would encourage applications from any group, including junior teams, school classes, youth organisations, university students and those who could not otherwise afford to attend. There will be no requirement to justify eligibility from individuals.
As part of Racecourse Live, the Club will provide an allocation of the available tickets to the local police and specialist council services. The tickets will be used to encourage a change of behaviours and to rehabilitate individuals back into the Wrexham AFC family.
