Wrexham AFC can confirm the departure of left-back Jamie Reckord, who has signed for Boreham Wood.
Reckord arrived at the Racecourse Ground back in the summer of 2020 and went on to make 48 appearances for the Club in all competitions.
He made his debut in a 2-1 victory for the Red Dragons against his new side Boreham Wood, and went on to play 34 games in his first season – scoring twice.
The 29-year-old featured 14 times under Phil Parkinson this season and he managed to get on the scoresheet once more, in our comeback against Southend.
Manager Parkinson said of Reckord’s departure: “Jamie goes with our best wishes having been offered an 18-month contract at Boreham Wood, which was a good move for him and his family.
“I’d like to thank him for his efforts and professional attitude since I’ve come into the Club, and wish him the best for the future.”
All at Wrexham AFC would like to wish Jamie well, and we look forward to welcoming him back to the Racecourse Ground in February when the two sides meet in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
