FIXTURE NEWS | FA Cup and FA Trophy dates confirmed

Wrexham to enter in October and December respectively

6 July 2022

The dates for the 2022/23 Emirates FA Cup and 2022/23 Isuzu FA Trophy have been confirmed.

As ever, Wrexham – as a Vanarama National League club – will enter the Emirates FA Cup at the Fourth Round Qualifying stage.

Fixtures will take place on Saturday October 15, 2022 – with the Red Dragons set to learn their opponents after the Third Round Qualifying stage, which takes place a fortnight earlier.

The 32 winning teams in the FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying will join clubs from EFL Leagues One and Two in the First Round Proper and receive £9,375 in prize money, while the losing teams receive £3,125.

Should Wrexham progress, as Phil Parkinson’s side did last season, they will play in the First Round Proper on Saturday November 5, 2022.

After reaching the final of last year’s competition at Wembley Stadium, meanwhile, Wrexham will enter the 2022/23 Isuzu FA Trophy in the third round with the other 23 Vanarama National League clubs.

This year’s third round fixtures will take place on Saturday December 17, 2022 with the winners going into the fourth round on January 14, 2023.

Wrexham’s third-round opponents will be known following the completion of the second round, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday November 19, 2022.

The Isuzu FA Trophy Final, meanwhile, will take place on Sunday May 21, 2023 – one week after the scheduled date of the Vanarama National League Promotion Final.
