Supporters attending today’s match at home to Macclesfield FC will be excited to see the start of the groundwork for the demolition of the Kop.
Fencing is going up in front of the old terraced stand, and per the agreed schedule will be complete by the time we kick-off our league season against Eastleigh on Saturday August 6.
Also on show for the first time today will be our new scoreboard in the University End, as well as the new accessible platform in the Wrexham Lager Stand.
Extensive works have also taken place in the Directors Box, as well as the players area in the Wrexham Lager Stand – which are scheduled to be fully completed for the start of the league season.
