Paul Mullin has been named the Vanarama National League Player of the Season, to add to the awards he collected at the Club’s End-of-Season Awards night.
Striker Mullin, 27, finished his first season in North Wales as the league’s top goalscorer with 26 in 38 appearances – with his goals in the play-off semi-final, FA Cup and FA Trophy taking him to 32 in 44 games in total.
And as well as finishing the season as the league’s top scorer, Mullin was voted Player of the Season in an award voted for by the other Vanarama National League clubs.
It completes another double for Mullin, who claimed the Golden Boot and Player of the Season awards in League Two last season too – and also bagged the same two awards, as well as Goal of the Season, in our own End-of-Season Awards.
Alongside Mullin, defender Aaron Hayden and midfielder Jordan Davies were also rewarded for excellent seasons with places in the Vanarama National League Team of the Season.
The trio become the first Wrexham AFC players to be named in the Team of the Season since Shaun Pearson in 2019.
