New packages for the 2022/23 season available now

22 June 2022

With seven weeks to go until the start of the 2022/23 Vanarama National League season kicks off, there is still plenty of time to get your membership for the new campaign.

Four different packages are now available, with an Adult and Junior Dragons offer for UK-based supporters and Adult International and Junior Dragons International offering which you can purchase here.

Each membership package offers unique and increased benefits for supporters, ranging from regular competitions, including money can’t buy experiences and home ticket priority.

In this edition of membership stories, we spoke to Junior Dragons member Carly Steward, and her mum Jess to see why she wanted to become a member for the new season.

Carly has been a dedicated supporter of both the men’s and women’s team during the previous season, and she explained she can’t wait to watch them both again this year!

Q1.  Are you excited to be a part of the Junior Dragons and what was the reason you wanted to become one?

Yes, I am very excited to be part of the Junior Dragons! I love anything to do with Wrexham AFC, so I had to become a member! I hope the priority access to tickets helps my Mum book tickets so that I can go to lots of games. I’ve told her that I don’t want to miss any of the home games this season, I want to go to as many as possible! I would love to be part of any meet and greet opportunities as it’s always fantastic meeting the players - that would be amazing! The competitions sound exciting and I definitely will be entering them. The chance to be a mascot at the Racecourse Ground would be incredible – I’d love to do that.

Q2. What was the experience like of being a mascot at Wembley, walking out with Ollie Palmer?

It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and better than I could have ever imagined! I can’t believe I got the player I wanted – when I looked up and realised, I was standing next to Ollie, I couldn’t believe it! Ollie Palmer was very nice and talked to me a lot! I loved being with my friends who were mascots and sharing the experience with them. The stadium tour was so interesting, and I enjoyed hearing all the facts about Wembley. Even seeing backstage was amazing and not what I imagined! The time we were waiting before walking out went really slowly as I was so excited. It was the best time of my life!

Q3. What do you hope to see from the new season?

I want to watch lots and lots more matches. I want to see the men’s team promoted and another Buildbase FA Trophy Final at Wembley would be great! I hope that Rosie Hughes and Paul Mullin continue to score lots more goals! I hope the Women’s team wins their league as they were so close last season, and they deserve to win it. I can’t wait to see more TikTok match reports from Rob & Ryan! They are so funny and always make me smile! I am also looking forward to watching more AAA films by Amy. I can’t wait for the new season to start!

As her mum, Jess expressed that she was delighted to see the way that Carly got involved with the club last season, and she hopes that it can happen again this year!

Q.1 So Jess, what was it for you that made you want to get membership for the 2022/23 season for Carly?

Carly is a massive Wrexham AFC fan, and she wants to be involved with the club as much as possible! I knew that she’d make the most out of all the membership benefits and as soon as I described the membership to her, she was excited about it!

Q.2 Were the benefits of the membership such as home ticket priority and the money can’t buy competitions a draw for Carly becoming a member for the season?

Most definitely! I had hoped to get season tickets but unfortunately, I couldn’t buy some before they sold out. Having the home ticket priority was a massive must have for me as I want to have the best opportunity to secure tickets for as many home matches as possible along with any finals. I hate missing games and I don’t want Carly to be disappointed. The competitions would be fantastic for Carly to get involved with.

Q.3 What was it like for you seeing Carly walk-out with Ollie Palmer, and the experience she had on the day?

It was beyond anything I could have wished for Carly! The whole experience of arriving at Wembley and seeing the mascots all going in together was fantastic! Waiting for the mascots to walk out I felt a mixture of nerves and excitement! When I saw Carly walk out with Ollie Palmer, I was over the moon for her! I looked across the stadium to see her face on the big screen opposite. Her expression was one of complete awe & amazement! I was very emotional watching as I knew how much it meant to Carly to be representing the club that she loves so much. I feel so unbelievably lucky and grateful to the club for giving Carly that experience – it really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for both of us.
