Always wanted to commentate on football? Think you can describe every kick of the ball and bring Wrexham AFC matches to life for listeners? Alan March Sport Ltd want to hear from you.
We are looking to expand our pool of volunteer commentators for the in-stadium Audio Descriptive Commentary service offered at the Racecourse Ground.
Alan March Sport Ltd has delivered audio descriptive commentary at the Racecourse Ground since the 2018/19 season.
Now, in order to continue offering this extremely valuable service, Alan March Sport Ltd is looking to expand the pool of volunteers at Wrexham AFC – offering training and experience as a commentator, including a full training day at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday April 24.
With commentary teams around the country, including Premier League clubs such as Leicester City, Wolves and Southampton, and with experience covering matches at Euro 2020, UEFA Champions League finals and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Alan March Sport Ltd are looking for applicants who fit the following requirements:
- Be able to commit to roughly 75% of Wrexham AFC home fixtures, including cup games
- Be able to occasionally carry a small amount of equipment (less than 8kg)
- Live within approximately 90 minutes’ travel of the Racecourse Ground.
- Be available for an all-day training session (9.30am-5.30pm) on April 24, 2022
