FA TROPHY DRAW | Wrexham learn semi-final opponents

Red Dragons to host the Hatters on Saturday April 2

14 March 2022

Wrexham will face Stockport County at home in the Buildbase FA Trophy semi-finals at the Racecourse Ground, on Saturday April 2.

In the last-four draw, broadcast live on Talksport 2, Phil Parkinson’s side were drawn at home to the Hatters, while Bromley will face York City for a place in May’s Wembley final.

Wrexham reached the semi-finals for the first time since 2015 thanks to James Jones’ dramatic late winner at Notts County on Friday night.

The Red Dragons previously beat Gloucester City, Folkestone Invicta and Boreham Wood at the Racecourse Ground.

Stockport, on the other hand, overcame tier-seven side, Needham Market – the lowest-ranked team in the quarter-finals – in the last round. It followed wins against Grimsby Town, Larkhall Athletic and Cheshunt.

The full fixture confirmation and ticket details will be released in due course.

As a result of our progress to the semi-finals of the Buildbase FA Trophy, our Vanarama National League match against Weymouth has been postponed. The new date for this fixture will again be confirmed in due course.
