Tozer hails Wrexham's attacking threat

The defender says confidence is high after a fifth consecutive win

Wrexham AFC Club Captain, Ben Tozer, says the Red Dragons are growing in confidence game-by-game, and has praised the side's attacking prowess.

Wrexham will be looking to make it six wins in a row in all competitions when Boreham Wood visit the Racecourse Ground on Tuesday evening, having hit an impressive patch of form in recent weeks.

Speaking following the most recent victory, a 2-0 triumph over King's Lynn Town, Tozer was in high spirits going into another important week.

"We're growing in confidence," he said. "We've got that real threat up top, which teams will be fearing.

"They'll see [Ollie] Palmer and [Paul] Mullin on the teamsheet and know they're not in for an easy game. They're both scoring, so that's a real plus.

"You know they're going to get at least one chance each per game, and they're both pretty clinical, so it fills you with confidence."

While Palmer and Mullin have often made the headlines, Tozer feels there are goals throughout the team, something he hopes they can use to their advantage in upcoming games.

"Especially with Jordan [Davies] in behind, we've got all kinds of goals," he added.

"We've got goals from set-pieces, one-on-ones and shots from distances, so there's an array of goals we can score, and that's a real positive."
