Tyrone Marsh's late penalty frustrated Wrexham at the LV Bet Stadium Meadow Park, as ten-man Boreham Wood snatched a point.
Paul Mullin had given Wrexham the lead in front of more than 1,000 travelling fans, after Jamal Fyfield's first-half red card.
But after Nathan Ashmore pulled off a string of fine saves to keep Boreham Wood in the game, Marsh's penalty - after Tyler French's clumsy foul - meant both teams shared a point.
