We are pleased to confirm Wrexham AFC Women have been granted an FAW Tier 2 License for the 2022/23 season, following a meeting of the independent Club Licensing Appeals Body.
As a result, Wrexham AFC Women will once again play in the Genero Adran North league, having finished as runners-up in the inaugural campaign.
Wrexham AFC Women Under-19s will be bidding to defend their Genero Adran U19s North title, meanwhile.
Head of Female Football, Gemma Owen, said: “We’re very pleased to have been successful in gaining a license to compete in Tier 2 again next season.
“Preparations are already underway for both the Wrexham AFC Women’s first team and Under-19s, as we look to improve on last season and strengthen both squads ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.”
