COMMUNITY | Quiet walkabout session planned for October 21

Chance for supporters with sensory overload to learn more about autism-friendly football at the Racecourse

19 October 2022

Wrexham AFC will be hosting our latest quiet walkabout session, for supporters with sensory overload, on Friday October 21 at 3.30pm.

The sessions are designed for any supporters who would benefit from having a quiet walkabout of the stadium while it is closed, to familiarise themselves prior to a busy match day.

The walkabout includes being shown the Macron Stand accessible entrance (Gate 12) and walking the recommended route to the quiet zone – which avoids the busy concourse area on match-days.

We also show the accessible toilets, our sensory hub and discuss all that we provide in the quiet zone (block PG1) on match-days.

Anybody wishing to attend should meet at Gate 12 – our double-doorway, accessible entrance into the Macron Stand on Mold Road to the left of the turnstiles – at 3.30pm prompt.

Please note, these sessions are specifically designed for supporters with sensory overload and are not open access.

If you have any queries, please email kerry.evans@wrexhamafc.co.uk.
