A game of two halves at the Racecourse Ground

19 October 2022

A bumper FA Cup crowd of more than 6,800 supporters - Wrexham's highest in the competition in more than a decade - witnessed a game of two halves at the Racecourse Ground.

In the first 45, Wrexham showed no sign of shellshock after Blyth's late equaliser in the initial tie, storming into a 3-0 lead courtesy of Ollie Palmer, Paul Mullin and Jordan Davies.

In the second-half, JJ O'Donnell and Michael Richardson reduced the deficit and sparked Blyth hopes of a famous comeback - which Wrexham eventually regrouped to extinguish.

As the Red Dragons booked their place in the FA Cup first round for the second consecutive season, Club Photographers Gemma Thomas and Lloyd Jones were on hand to capture the best of the action. Check out their gallery above.
