TICKET NEWS | Doncaster ballot now live; Grimsby ballot open at 10am Thursday

UK members have 24 hours to enter Doncaster Rovers membership ballot

22 August 2023

*UPDATE* The ballot for our match against Grimsby Town will now be open to members from 10am on Thursday August 25, in a slight change to the initial communication.

The membership ballot for our Sky Bet League Two fixture against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday (September 9) is now live for all UK members.

The ballot will run from 4pm this afternoon until Wednesday (August 23) at 4pm.

In addition to this, once the Doncaster Rovers ballot closes at 4pm on Wednesday, entries for the Grimsby Town ballot will open at 10am on Thursday August 25 and run until 10am on Friday August 26.

As previously outlined, our membership ballot is only available for all UK members who haven’t been able to purchase a ticket for the selected fixture.

In total, 150 tickets will be made available, with all tickets seated in the STōK Cold Brew Coffee Stand. For further details on the ballot process, please see our FAQs page.

The ballot can be entered by both new and existing members and memberships are still available to purchase online, with the renewal window for 2022/23 members closing on Thursday August 31.

All members can only enter one application per ballot and any individuals who enter more than once will have their applications revoked.

How to enter

To enter the ballot, you must be a member, log on to our eTicketing website and select the related fixture. When applications are made live, you will be able to click on an ‘Apply Here’ button which will direct you to the ballot.

The ballot will run for a total of 24 hours, at which point the ballot will be closed, payments for winning entries taken, and the distribution process will be ran by the end of the day.

You will be notified if successful or not and all tickets will be emailed out to the winners.

Applications can be made in-person for both matches, but you must apply within the timeframe outlined for your application to go through and the club advises that all applications are made online where possible.

All applications will be limited to a maximum of 10 members (one ticket per member), however it is strongly advised that numbers are kept to a minimum to increase the likelihood of a successful application.

You can only add people in your existing network onto an application and it will not be possible to add members to your network at the application stage.

How to add members to your network

For instructions on how to ensure you have activated your eTicketing account and how to add members to your network, please see this guide.

How to edit ticket privileges

To manage your friends’ tickets, you must update the ticket privileges.

To find out what privileges you have on your friends account, and what privileges they have on yours, click on their name on the ‘My Network Page’.

Payment details

Before you can complete your application, payment details will need to be taken in the event you are successful in the ballot.

Payment will not be taken if you are unsuccessful and, in this instance, payment details will not be held.

If your selected payment method is declined but you are successful in your application, your ticket/s will be held until the day of the fixture.

Please note: A very small number of users may run into an issue whereby payment details have not been requested, but they have received a confirmation email.

Providing you have received a confirmation email, then you will have been entered into the ballot.

If successful, even if payment details have not been taken, then tickets will be reserved for winners to purchase.
