Carabao Cup First Round tie to be broadcast live

Wrexham AFC return to the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, when the Red Dragons welcome Sky Bet League One side Wigan Athletic to the STōK Cae Ras for the first round clash.

After promotion back into the EFL, the match marks Wrexham’s first in the competition since defeat to Aston Villa in 2007.

Shaun Maloney scored twice for Villa that day, and will now be in the Wigan dug-out for the match, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports to UK viewers.

Supporters watching overseas can also tune in to watch Tuesday’s game. The match, which kicks off at 8pm (BST) will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the USA and DAZN in Canada.
