Following an incredible response to our North Wales Superkids toy box appeal, Wrexham AFC’s DLO Kerry Evans visited the charity to drop off donations ahead of Christmas.
We have partnered with North Wales Superkids during the festive period for the last three years, in the aim of providing new, unwrapped gifts to be delivered to families most in-need. Without the work done by North Wales Superkids, for many, Christmas simply wouldn’t happen.
Speaking on arrival at North Wales Superkids, Kerry said: “Given the recent passing of the charity’s founder, Margaret Williams MBE, we hoped that the Wrexham community could support where possible at a time of year where it can be very difficult for families.
“We’ve been blown away with the generosity of supporters who have supported North Wales Superkids’ cause, and we were overwhelmed with the number of presents that had been dropped off for donations this year.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated presents in the run up to Christmas, no matter how big or small - the collective effort of our community has been incredible yet again.”
Thank you to all supporters who donated to this year's collection, including staff at Hillbury House and our Community Partners, SP Energy.
