Red Dragons drawn against TNS in Bute Energy Welsh Cup Semi-Finals

13 December 2023

Wrexham AFC Women have been drawn against The New Saints in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Semi-Final.

With the competition now into the final four teams, the fixture will be hosted at a neutral ground, with the match set to take place on March 3, 2024.

Wrexham have beaten Pwllheli, Llandudno and Briton Ferry Llansawel to reach the last four of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup – it is the first time since the Club’s reformation in 2018 that they’ve reached this stage.

It will be the second time that Steve Dale’s side have faced TNS this season, having claimed a 3-1 victory at The Rock with Rosie Hughes netting her 100th Wrexham goal while Carra Jones also recorded a brace.

While Wrexham have previously faced their opponents in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup, claiming an impressive 2-1 win in 2022, it is the first time that TNS have reached the semi-final stage of this competition.

Full ticket and streaming information for this fixture will be confirmed in due course.
