Ten-man Wrexham AFC reigned victorious on the road at Swindon Town – taking all three points on a Boxing Day delight.
It took just 13 minutes for Wrexham to find the back of the net - James McClean netted his second in a Wrexham shirt while stepping up in place of Paul Mullin, who dropped to the bench through illness. Swindon were unable to react leaving the home side trailing at the break.
Wrexham remained on the front foot after the break, but could not find a second goal as Swindon began to turn momentum into their favour. There was a potential big turning point when James Jones received two yellow cards in the space of four minutes, but Wrexham's defence - led by Arthur Okonkwo in goal - resisted everything the Robins threw at them.
