Wrexham AFC Women secured a quarter-final spot in the Genero Adran Trophy after a 4-0 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel.
Our opponents Briton Ferry returned to The Rock for a second consecutive Sunday looking to cause an upset after last weekend's defeat, when Wrexham triumphed 2-0 to progress to the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Semi-Finals. Similar to the previous week, both sides showed their skill - neither however able to find the the opening goal.
A resurgent Wrexham started the second half in a clinical manner - ten minutes in their improved performance paid off when Carra Jones found the back of the net. Just four minutes later Jones got her second to put the Red Dragons in a commanding postition. Two added time goals saw TJ Dickens and Ava Suckley wrap up the scoring - securing Wrexham AFC Women a quarter-final spot when Cardiff City are their opponents.
