MEMBERSHIP UPDATE | How to buy match-day tickets for 2023/24 season

Priority access window; Ticket Exchange System and ballot available

10 July 2023

Official 2023/24 Members will have up to three opportunities to purchase tickets for each home game as we look forward to our first season back in the EFL.

Our 2023/24 Memberships are on sale now – details can be found here – and as previously announced all members will have access to a priority ticket window for each home game.

Furthermore, members will be able to access our new Ticket Exchange System whenever it is available – where Season-Ticket holders who are unable to attend a game will be able to sell their ticket. Full details on how to use the Ticket Exchange System will be announced in due course.

We are also pleased to confirm a ballot system will be in place for an allocation of 150 tickets, allowing UK members the chance to apply to buy a ticket for every home game.

When the ballot opens, members will be able to apply for the game they are interested in, pre-assigning each ticket to other UK members in their friends and family network who they wish to attend alongside. Payment details will be taken at this point. It will only be open to those members who have not already been assigned a match ticket (i.e. purchased one during the priority window). The ballot will then be closed and all seats will then be randomly allocated until all 150 have been distributed, with successful applicants being automatically charged at this point. Non-winning entries will not be charged.

Wrexham AFC Home Ticket Ballot 2023/24 - FAQs

Who is the ballot open to?

The ticket ballot will be open to all 2023/24 UK Official Members.

How many tickets are available in the ballot?

150 tickets will be made available for each home game.

Why 150 tickets?

We have allocated 150 tickets to the ballot, to ensure UK members had access to twice as many tickets as we had allocated to International Members, and that all UK members had equal access to these. We estimated that on average, 75 supporters were travelling to games from overseas last season, which is why we have set the allocation for international tickets at that number.

How do I sign up to the ballot?

Each game, UK members will be offered the chance to join the ballot for tickets. You can enter the ballot as an individual or as a group with other Official Members in your friends and family network. Details will be posted ahead of each match-day. When you sign up to the ballot, you provide your card details and these are automatically charged for the ticket if you win so please don’t sign up if you do not wish to attend.

What if I already have a ticket to the game?

Tickets are allocated as one per member. This includes season-ticket holders, who cannot apply for extra tickets on top of their season-ticket seat. As a result, anybody in the ballot who has already bought a ticket will be discounted from being drawn (including all other applicants in their application).

What if I apply alongside other members in my network, and one of them buys a ticket elsewhere?

As explained above, anybody who has already been assigned a ticket for the same match will be withdrawn. Therefore, the group application will be invalid, and will be withdrawn. Before entering as a group, check that everybody you have entered wants a ticket and is valid for one. Our strong advice is to keep your group as small as possible, to reduce the chance of your application becoming invalid.

I want to apply alongside a friend or family member who is not an Official Member. Can I?

No. The ballot is only open to members. A group application that features non-members will not be valid, and therefore will not be considered for the draw.

I won a ticket in the ballot, but I can no longer attend. What do I do?

All winning entries are automatically charged for their tickets for the game, therefore it is a commitment to purchase and attend. No refunds will be given on winning entries should the one or more of the applicants then be unavailable.

Will the ballot be reviewed?

We will review the rules around the ballot after six games, to see if any changes are necessary, as this is a new approach for everyone. However, at all times 150 tickets will be allocated to the ballot.

Away Tickets

Wrexham AFC can confirm we will be selling tickets to all away league games in the 2023/24 season.

As a result, we will be able to operate priority access windows for all matches.

Season-ticket holders will have a priority ticket window for every away game. An allocation will also be offered to Official 2023/24 Members to ensure all have the opportunity to try and buy tickets.

Of the available tickets, 70% will be offered to Season-Ticket Holders and 30% to Official Members.

Ticket on-sale dates for each away game will be confirmed ahead of every match.
