Wrexham AFC will take on Wigan Athletic in the Carabao Cup First Round on August 8/9, following this afternoon's draw.
The draw sees the Red Dragons face off against the Latics, which will be the first time the two sides have met in competitive action since February 2002.
It's the first time Wrexham has featured in the competition since 2007, when we were knocked out by Aston Villa in the Second Round, as we return to the competition following our promotion back to the EFL.
