Nearly 2,000 tickets have already been sold for Wrexham AFC Women’s match against Connah’s Quay Nomads at the Racecourse Ground on Sunday March 26.
The final game of the Genero Adran North season kicks off at 2pm, with tickets available for just £1 each – with Wrexham looking to end a title-winning season with victory against their biggest rivals.
A win will complete a 100 per cent record for the campaign, and Steve Dale’s side will then be presented with the Genero Adran North trophy – after their title was confirmed with victory away to CPD Y Rhyl 1879 on Sunday.
After tickets sold rapidly this morning, the game is already set to be the second-highest attendance in Welsh domestic women’s football history.
And Wrexham AFC supporters are urged to come and cheer on the champions as we look to smash the national record of 5,175, set by Cardiff City Women earlier this season.
Manager Dale said: “It’s exciting. There’s a record there that the Club are keen to break, and it’s going to feel special. It’s a good opportunity to showcase what the women’s team are about.”
Tickets are available to buy now, from our eTicketing website here.
