Wrexham AFC Women will face Briton Ferry Llansawel in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup quarter-finals at The Rock on Sunday December 10.
The Genero Adran South leaders beat Pontardawe Town in their Second Round clash yesterday, to set up back-to-back trips to North Wales – with the two teams already due to meet in the Genero Adran Trophy last-16 the previous weekend.
It means consecutive games between the two teams, who have only met once before – in last season’s Play-Off Final, which saw Rebecca Pritchard’s goal and Del Morgan’s heroics earn promotion for Wrexham.
Wrexham have beaten Pwllheli and Llandudno to reach the last eight of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup – the same stage they reached last year, when they were defeated by Aberystwyth Town.
Briton Ferry Llansawel, meanwhile, are looking to go one further than last season when they reached the Final before losing to Cardiff City. As well as Pontardawe, they have already beaten Caldicot Town so far this season.
They are yet to lose in any competition since the defeats to Wrexham and Cardiff in back-to-back matches at the end of last season.
Full ticket and streaming information for this fixture will be confirmed in due course.
