Red Dragons continue unbeaten run with Remembrance Day win

13 November 2023

Wrexham AFC continued their run of good form with a fifth consecutive win in all competitions, when they saw off Gillingham on Saturday.

The STōK Cae Ras paid their respects on Armistice Day joined by representatives of RAF Valley - including a flypast from two T-2 Hawks. The game got underway at a hurtling pace when Ollie Palmer put it past the Gillingham keeper in just 57 seconds.

Wrexham remained laregely in control through the second half too, and finally scored a second in the 71st minute - this time it came courtesy of Ben Tozer. Assisted by Jacob Mendy, Tozer scored his seventh Wrexham goal as dusk appered over the stadium.
